J. Daniel Cuvée is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on extraordinary and distinct Napa Valley sites. This multi-vineyards cuvée is assembled over its 20 months of aging in barrels, during which we seek the greatest expression of harmony and balance from that vintage. Our flagship bottling is named in honor of founder Robin Lail's father, John Daniel, Jr., a true innovator who produced legendary wines.
  The 2006 J. Daniel Cuvee is living up to my laudatory notes from last year. Black currant, crushed rock, licorice, asphalt, graphite, and chocolate characteristics are present in this full-bodied effort. With excellent purity, depth, and delineation.
