Description

THE WINE

The Amuse Bouche 2011 (96% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc) was harvested on October 24, aged in a combination of Taranssaud, Radoux and Gamba cooperage, and bottled in March 2013. Heidi describes this wine as boasting flavors of sweet black cherries and ripe plums with underlying aromas of chocolate, coffee bean, red licorice and exotic spice box. 560 cases were produced.

THE ARTIST: DIANE PETERSON

To grace the label of our Amuse Bouche 2011, we commissioned Diane Peterson who created Strawberries & Wine for us. Diane has been painting for more than 50 years since she became a US citizen in 1955. Her art has appeared at exhibitions all over the country. She is best known for her vibrant and colorful depictions of Napa Valley's wine country...and as the mother of Heidi Barrett! We hope you enjoy the beautiful art as much as we do! On the reverse of the postcard, you will note the art we have chosen for the 2012 vintage.
