2016 Chateau L’Avocat Blanc Graves (750ml)
DescriptionWhich encompasses the vineyards known as, 'LeBasque', 'Cation' and 'Haut Mayne', which are all in area known as the 'Le plateau des Moulin's a vent'. This is a large plateau of river stones, which is well known for producing some of the best wines in the Graves. The vines are old with an average age of between 30-40 years, which is ideal for our white wine making philosophy focused on low production yield and maximum intensity of flavour and ripeness. The white varieties with approximate percentages are Sauvignon Blanc 30% and Semillon 60% and 10% Sauvignon Gris.
Bracing acidity melds with ripe yellow apple and fig to satisfy any white wine lover's thirst. Pairs with anything from Mozzarella Caprese to grilled fish. This wine loves to be enjoyed with great company.
