Grgich Hills Fume Blanc (750ml)
Dark golden-hay in color, this white was fermented mostly in 900-gallon French oak foudres, with the remainder fermented in smaller French oak barrels. Nutty lime and gooseberry provide intrigue and saltiness against bright acidity, making for a complex and compelling impression on the palate. The combination of the right clones and cool growing region produce juicy tropical fruit and lemongrass flavors with a touch of minerality at the end of a long finish.
